Carbide Sets

Our carbide bur sets offer you a wide range of choices. These carbide burs are used for removing material. Each set comes in a case for easy storage. These carbide sets are available in standard cut as well as double cut tools. You may choose the shank diameter that best fits your needs.

Most common types of burs are single cut (SC), which removes the most amount of material at once while leaving a rough finish. The double cut (DC) has two cutting edges (the edges cross each other like an X). This does not remove as much material as the single cut but it leaves a smoother finish.

This is a great tool for all machinists and metal working people in general. It has a wide range of applications. You can reshape a surface removing just the right amount of material needed. If you have a piece of material with rough edges, you would use a bur to remove those edges.
